Plant Your Tree was created to support the work of the Toronto and Region Conservation and the Conservation Foundation of Greater Toronto.

One thing makes the Plant Your Tree program unique: Plant Your Tree is the only program of its kind specifically focused on benefiting the greater Toronto region.

"Think globally, act locally" applies well to the Plant Your Tree program along with TRCA and its partners. While we recognize our participation in the global environment, our work is focused on the environment here in the Toronto region.

By connecting businesses operating in the GTA with you, the people who live and work right here in the Toronto region. Plant Your Tree is able to raise funds and awareness for the critical work Toronto and Region Conservation has been doing for over 50 years to conserve the natural environment in the Toronto region and to ensure that The Living City ® is built upon a natural foundation of healthy rivers and shorelines, green space and biodiversity, and sustainable communities.

Since 1961 The Conservation Foundation has worked to provide our city with enjoyable conservation experiences such as Black Creek Pioneer Village and the Kortright Centre for Conservation.

Without the TRCA and the Conservation Foundation many of the green spaces and parks we enjoy with our children and beloved pets such as Tommy Thompson Park, Ashbridges Bay, Humber Bay Park, Bluffers Park, the Ajax Waterfront Park and the Don Valley Brick Works would not be possible.

By participating in the Plant Your Tree program you a taking an active step in protecting the environment where you live, where you work and where you bring up your children (or grandchildren).

Your simple act of planting a Tree helps:
